About Us
The Canadian Pharmacists’ Coalition for Responsible Policy is a grassroots network of pharmacists from communities across Canada who share common concerns about policies that affect our professional practice and the health of our patients.
The Coalition brings together pharmacists that believe public policy should be practical, evidence-based, and grounded in the realities frontline health professionals see every day in practice. We advocate for common sense policies and regulations that both support our role in patient care and protect Canadians from health risks associated with products that are not properly regulated or safeguarded.
We believe in public policy that is apolitical and based on factual information, with strong consideration for potential unintended negative consequences. We support reasonable patient access to regulated health products, without burdening pharmacists with unnecessary gatekeeping requirements.
Our Mission
